My one-on-one, in-person readings last about 30 minutes for one question. The Basic Full Reading is on the topic of your choice (love, career, finances, your best path, etc.). This category also includes an option for an "open reading" that addresses important influences in your life in general. I will utilize at least one full spread, typically the 10-card Celtic Cross, for the Basic Full Reading and I might add clarification cards and/or another small spread to fully flesh things out. I do offer many other Basic Full spreads that address specific topics in an even more focused way; if one of those is more suitable or a custom spread is in order, I'll do that.
The Year Ahead Spread involves two cards for each of the next 12 months plus clarification cards; the Big Picture Reading is either a series of smaller spreads on 2-3 topics, or the Qabalistic Tree of Life Spread, the Astrological Houses Spread, Best Life Path, or a large custom option. If you're looking to cover a lot of ground, contact me about structuring a Big Picture Reading. I also employ several other
spreads and can easily customize. My default reading deck is the Rider-Waite-Smith, but if you feel strongly about one of the other decks that are listed on my
Decks page, I will use one of those (I have several other decks, but they aren't quite as accessible). This option is only available in person. I welcome and encourage your questions and participation during the reading!
If you have any questions at all or you're simply unsure which option is best for you, just send me an
e-mail. I do have a location in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, for in-person readings by appointment, but if you'd like me to come to you, a small $10 travel fee applies for areas more than 15 miles outside of Cape Elizabeth. Travel is at my discretion.

My e-mail readings are very thorough. It generally takes two to four days for a Basic Full e-mail reading, longer for the Year Ahead or Big Picture; they're
labor intensive in that I will take the time to write out and send you
a comprehensive overview of how each and every card relates to your
question/concern. I will also send a photo of your spread and images of each card so you can see the full details, ultimately tying
the reading together in a card-by-card overview and final summary. Rest assured that I will
give you the same level of detail in these readings as in my
in-person sessions. Again, I encourage your participation before,
during and after. And yes, e-mail readings are just as accurate as in-person readings. It is merely one of many forms of long-distance reading.
Power Card, Three-card Spreads, and the Four-card Strengths and Shadows Spread (or Strengths and Weaknesses) will have a quicker turnaround. When you e-mail me your request, I will first happily answer any questions you might have about the process and will help you refine your question. I'll also discuss with you ways to put your personal power/intentions out there so that you can feed your reading from a distance. Once your question is nailed down, I'll do the spread and, as noted above, give you a detailed reading of each card in relation to its place in the spread along with a general reading overview. Some topics: general guidance; relationships; career; finances; family; how to fully self-actualize/find your best path; how to enhance creativity/motivation, etc. These are just a few suggestions. Again, we will get your question and expectations as clear as possible prior to the reading.
Remember, I am all about the interactive use of the Tarot, so if you have questions before or after I send your reading, please don't hesitate to ask. Some of the MANY spreads I use can be found on the
Spreads page, but remember that I have several available for just about any topic and can customize. Just

As I mentioned in my bio, I have years of intense academic study under my belt, including philosophy, symbology, folklore, mythology, esoteric systems, and many other related topics. I use this knowledge along with the cards to piece together and interpret what you recall of your dreams. This option is available in person or via e-mail and is priced as a Basic Full Reading. Once I collect info on your dream, I'll pull cards that relate to your images to enhance the meaning of your dream or dreams, and I include a six-card spread to offer further insight and direction based on the central concept of your dream interpretation.
Everyone's birthday is associated numerologically with certain Major Arcana cards. Before I do this analysis, I'll ask you for the day, month, and year of your birth. Based on this info, you'll get the full picture of the significance of your birth cards as well as the following for your card or cards:
